PIEK Certification: Cemafroid takes over from October 2025

Since the Dutch foundation PIEK‑KEUR announced that it would cease its PIEK certification activities as of October 1, 2025, many of you have asked us about the future of certification.

As soon as we became aware of this decision, we began discussions with our Dutch counterparts to ensure a smooth transition for the affected manufacturers.

From October 1, 2025, Cemafroid, a long‑standing partner of PIEK since its creation,:

  • Will ensure the technical management of the test protocol,
  • Will manage the certification and marking procedures for products,
  • Will establish a dedicated technical committee to integrate the developments necessary for the issuance of the mark. This committee will be open to all European stakeholders.

The Dutch site will close on September 30, and will be replaced by a new site maintained by Cemafroid: peak.cemafroid.fr
